Stay as far away as possible
If a power line falls on your car while driving, slowing continue to move completely clear of it.
Call 911 or PG&E 1-800-743-5002
If you can’t move your car away from the power line, stay in your car until help arrives.
Assume it is live
If a person or pet comes in contact with a power line, stay clear and call 911 immediately. Do not touch them or the wire
Never touch a downed power line or anything near it
The video misses important safety issues – always wear a seat belt and never text while driving
Do not drive over power lines
