Happenings in the Open Space this weekend revolve around Old Borges Ranch in Shell Ridge Open Space. That's a pretty romantic place and a great place to learn about our history and wildlife that share the Open Space with us.

Our monthly bird walk will start from the ranch and then travel into Shell Ridge. Ranger Dan Bylin is going to take you exploring in the grasslands above Old Borges Ranch for wintering songbirds and raptors and then search for thrushes, thrashers and kinglets on the chaparral covered slopes above Pine Creek. Should be a fun morning.
