The October Bird walk is in Shell Ridge Open Space starting out of Old Borges Ranch. Join the flock as we watch for fall migrants heading back to Central and South America and greet the arrival of our winter residents. This short hike will take us around Old Borges Ranch and to the Twin Ponds area of Shell Ridge Open Space. We will be hiking through oak savannah, grasslands and riparian habitats.
