Good neighbor guidelines
Most child care in Walnut Creek operates in residential neighborhoods. Here are some “good neighbor” guidelines:
- As a courtesy, be aware of your neighbors' schedules, especially if any of your immediate neighbors work nights and sleep during the day.
- Try to keep children's noise to a reasonable level, i.e., if children begin crying outside take them inside to console them.
- Locate play equipment at least 10 feet from property boundaries, and lower than perimeter fencing.
