Voting Options

Beginning the week of October 7, registered voters in Walnut Creek will receive their ballot for the November 5 election. The State of California is offering a vote by mail option for every voter, but there are many ways to vote on or before November 5. Be sure to return your ballot by 8 pm on Election Day.

Vote by mail

Your ballot must be postmarked on or before Election Day and received within 17 days of the election. Mark your ballot, then place it in the postage-paid return envelope. Sign the envelope and mail it back.

Regional Early Voting Site in Walnut Creek

The early voting site is open the Friday, Saturday and Monday prior to Election Day.  There is not in-person voting onsite.
