Project Description
The applicant, Firm Foundation Community Housing, is proposing to construct a supportive housing tiny home village containing six, 100% affordable residential units that are approximately 270 square feet in size. The project will also contain a separate office building measuring 270 square feet to be used for supportive services space. The residential units are organized around a shared, 900 square foot courtyard space all located behind the parking lot at the northeast corner of the site.
The applicant also requests State Density Bonus concessions and waivers of development standards to waive the minimum density and several objective design standards.
Entitlements Requested
Ministerial Review. The project applied for ministerial review under Assembly Bill 2162 (AB 2162). The City is currently reviewing the application for conformance with AB-2162 and all objective standards. There will be no public hearings associated with this project. The City is required to approve the project if it complies with AB-2162 and meets all applicable objective standards.
