Project Description
The proposed project is a multi-use development which would include a 155,628-square-foot, three-story self-storage facility; a 1,040-square-foot, single-story leasing office building with public restroom facilities; and an 8,975-square-foot, two-story redeveloped Calicraft building.
The self-storage facility would have three stories, each approximately 51,876 square feet for a total area of 155,628 square feet. The Calicraft building would be two-story and would have indoor, patio, and bar seating, as well as associated 50-seat outdoor gathering area and a 320-square-foot shipping container to be used as a bar to serve this area. An 8-foot-tall sound attenuation wall would be constructed around the Calicraft building and parking lot. The 1,040-square-foot leasing office building would have public restrooms. The proposed project would also include a 6,830-square-foot dog park and a 5,000-square-foot community garden on the western side of the project site. The community garden’s footprint would be similar to that of the existing farm area. Seven bioretention areas would be included throughout the project site, totaling 9,365 square feet.
