City Hall

This section implements the construction program for new City facilities and major maintenance projects of City-owned infrastructure. It provides design, surveying, scheduling, inspection, and construction management for these projects. This section also conducts community outreach meetings, coordinates joint projects, and applies for outside agency funding for capital projects.

The 2024-2033 Ten-Year Capital Investment Program  (CIP) is a planning tool to prioritize and schedule projects for five two-year budget cycles. It is a dynamic document that will be updated every two-year cycle. Approval of the CIP does not constitute an appropriation of funds to a specific projects. CIP projects are funded by the separate City Council action approving a two-year Capital Budget.

The Fiscal Year 2024-2025 Capital Budget provides funding for projects that protect and enhance the City's infrastructure. CIP projects involve the construction, acquisition, expansion, and rehabilitation or replacement of City facilities and infrastructure. CIP projects usually have higher costs and take a year or more to complete.
