Environmental Documents

The California Environmental Quality Act, commonly known as CEQA, is comprised of a series of regulations designed to inform decision makers and the public about potential environmental impacts of proposed projects, and to reduce those environmental impacts to the extent feasible. 

CEQA document filed by the City are always available for review either at the Contra Costa County Clerk-Recorder's Office or on the CEQAnet database maintained by the State of California's Office of Planning & Research. This webpage serves as the City of Walnut Creek's local repository of CEQA documents for applicable projects which occur within the incorporated city boundary of Walnut Creek.
